Introducing the Ant™ in a new colour palette created by Fritz Hansen in collaboration with creative visionary Carla Sozzani. Colours within the palette complement one another, for endless combinations with subtle warmth and harmony. All 16 colours and 7 base options are created to fit into the Fritz Hansen design collection. Mix and match shell colours and base options or contact your Sales Representative about creating a bespoke colour for special projects.
THE ANT with three legs was originally designed for Novo Nordisk, a Danish healthcare company and shown for the first time at Fritz Hansen s 80th birthday in 1952, About 3 months later the chair was shown at the spring exhibition at the Danish Museum of Decorative Art. This became Arne Jacobsen s international break trough as an architect and the Ant is one of the prominent icons of the collection today.
